We are currently looking for: (1) one position
DEDICATED ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Reporting to the CEO, the Dedicated Account Executive will advance efforts
and activities aimed at developing, maintaining and deepening relationships
with new and existing Earth Innovations Inc. clients across North America,
with a particular focus on the US market.
The primary sales focus will be on our flagship product and category leader
EcoTraction, a volcanic mineral used for traction on icy winter sidewalks. It is
already carried coast-to-coast in Canada in Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Home
Hardware, Acklands-Grainger, and Unisource among others, and was featured
on the CBC television show Dragons' Den.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develops and implements business strategies to help grow Earth Innovations Inc. in retail and industrial markets by managing the entire business development life cycle
• Leads an internal team of Customer Service Representatives who assist with business development efforts
• Prepares monthly sales activity records and reports
• Maintains appropriate customer and prospect files using Salesforce
• Plans, develops, coordinates and makes sales presentations to inform, persuade, educate and close business
• Directs research activities to identify other emerging market opportunities and monitors competitor activities
• Performs bi-weekly quality checks on product, service delivery and overall customer satisfaction
• Works with management to develop and execute annual business plans including customer assessments
• Responsible for quarterly forecasting, annual budget planning, channel marketing and promotional campaigns
• Represents Earth Innovations Inc. at tradeshows and industry related events
• Other duties as assigned by the President and the CEO
Requirements:
• Minimum of ten (10) plus years of recent business development experience demonstrating progression in scope of responsibility and results
• College or University degree in a related discipline
• Proven experience in consumer and industrial markets in both Canada & US
• Successfully developed and managed 3rd-party sales agencies in Canada and the US
• Demonstrated track record in growing market share in undeveloped territories
• Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
• Working knowledge of Salesforce or experience using other CRM software solutions
• Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset
